and?
...to procrastinate.NO.to fight for mardhatillah. (redha Allah)and??
one simple question-
when will i finish the 'something i should be completed looooooong time ago?
thinking of that--my mind will quickly,no,immediately?yeah and actively form excuses,EXCUSES people,excuses---to tell myself that it's okay to complete the work LATER...it's not the end of the world yet...YET?!
so i will leisurely spend my time reading through hundreds of facebook walls and pages over andOVER again without feeling bored...(yet something is abandoned, neglected, not given any attention, beside the laptop...)
when the deadline is around and i feel like driving an ambulance with a pregnant woman at moment of delivery at the back of the vehicle...what happen if there's an accident or a massive traffic jam and your vehicle breaks down and you could not turn back but you still have to send the pregnant woman to the hospital or you will fell guilty for the rest of your life??
okay too much of an analogy, pardon me.haih~
i know...
there's a lot of 'waitS and 'butS in my life...
and i also know that...
1-procrastination is a learned habit---yep, i don't know when did i start to procrastinate and now it is one of my negative habit...of course it's your habit too, you, you, you and you too...
so let us
2-practice is the best way to fight it. it is to do something IMMEDIATELY when you receive a tas, work or assignments even some responsibility towards yourself(like taking baths in a cold day..brrrr),ah ouh,i repeat, immediately and do not postpone---i'm trying okay, pray for me,you and you and you and you too(stop it will you!),i'll pray for you too.we must try to break the habit!
and the process of doing something immediately must be continous..
so that you and me will have a positive learned new habit that will become a second nature. we will not procrastinate anymore.yeah!!!but now...let's focus on point number 1 and 2.
and oh, i have some work to do. (first step of a no-no procrastination life~eyes drooling)
bye2 for now!
wish to write more~
salam.

Thank you for this. Not so many people wants to talk about this bad habit really seriously, especially in our cohort.
I really do agree that procrastination is a learned habit. I think procrastination is just like lying. When you started to learn to lie, then without realizing it, it can become a bad habit which is hard to let go. And somehow, you just keep giving excuses for our act of lying to justify or to save ourselves. Just like procrastination, we keep making excuses and saying it is okay to delay and wait. "We got plenty of time", & "Don't worry" bla, bla...
I think it's time for us to really seriously consider of changing our habit of delaying, and for that I'll pray all the best for all of you and please pray for me too.
me too~need to start early so that i will leave the habit..
